Good Bye 2017, Hello 2018!!

Well, I guess the old sayings, 'Times Flies When You're Having Fun" and "It isn't work if you enjoy what you're doing" couldn't be any truer to me! What an amazing year we all had!

We met lots of new people, went lots of new places, and did a lot of new mosaics in 2017. We even managed to get a few local evenets planned for 2018 and we can't wait to get things going for those events.

Everything that got improved upon at Rosebud Mosaics Millbury MA was through, or because of, our new friends, friends we met at local events and through word of mouth. What an amazing group of individuals we have in the stables now!

Of course, the old steady customers, friends and supporters are absolutley, positively, without-a-doubt, crucial to the growth and maintenance of what we are so lucky to do. We appreciate all of our supporters and cheerleaders and people that always have a decent thing to send us on Facebook to lighten our day and to make us smile. We couldn't do what we do without them!

We donated 15+ mosaics, both large and small, in 2017 and have the final two (a couple of dogs) here waiting to be delivered after the First of the Year. We developed a satellite page for the donation part of the business, so please check it out (top of the page at www.rosebudmosaics.com) and let us know what you think. We're always looking for new ideas, organizations to support, and people to surprise, so please make sure to add your two cents on that page.

There are 8 large and 4 small pieces finished, sitting on my desk here at the studio that haven't been added to the webpage yet, so check back for those. Here's a little preview: two dogs, Keith Richards, Blondie, Robert Smith of the Cure, Johnny Rotten of Public Image Limited and the Sex Pistols, a couple male nudes, some LBGT pieces, and a Boston four sport circular mosaic that I hope I never have to do again!!

On deck are a 4 foot by 5 foot Divine Mercy Jesus and a compliment Mother Mary piece. There is also a wall down here at the house that I have my eye on. I'd like to do a split mosaic on this wall - half Lithuanian landscape features and half Sicilian landscape features. I also have some outside works I'd like to give a try!! Speciality bricks, bird baths and downspout drain rails are just a few.

We all appreciate all of you that support us- THANK YOU. We welcome those of you we haven't met yet! Please go on to Facebook or the website to join us or to add an idea or two to the lot!
